Paul Menard wins first career NSCS race

On Sunday the drivers raced at the Brickyard. Paul Menard ended up being the one who kissed the bricks at the end of the race. It was a big victory for him, and his victory came as a surprise to me. It was Paul Menard's first career NSCS victory.

I wasn't expecting him to win the race at all. I was sure that Jeff Gordon was going to catch him, or that he would run out of fuel, but he didn't, he won the race. This season is full of first time winners. So far it has been a very exciting season. It's like you don't know who will win until the final lap on turn 4. I'm happy for him getting his first career NSCS win.

I was enjoying the first part of that race, because if you haven't noticed I'm a Kasey fan. But it didn't go so well for him near the end. I felt that he had a great chance at winning but ended up finishing 18th. Although he didn't do so well, I was happy to see a new face in victory lane.

I wonder who will end up in victory lane at Pocono. I have a feeling we won't know until the last corner on the last lap of the race. Should be an exciting race to watch!
